About | Cinda Boomershine

Cinda Boomershine graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University. Right out of school she worked for a Congressman in DC, then as an advertising/marketing account executive in Atlanta. She then went back to school and got her MBA (graduating with a geeky but impressive 4.0).

In 2000, Cinda started putting her creative skills and passions to work renovating neglected old houses in Atlanta and then decorating them with ingenious yet affordable décor solutions when she listed them to sell. Before long, friends started asking Cinda for help with their homes. It was then that Cinda realized she was on to something. She combined her knowledge of business and design and set out to redesign the traditional interior designer and client relationship. What she came up with was a fresh approach that empowers clients with ideas, resources and technical tips. This user-friendly approach took off and the interiors division of cinda b was born.

In 2003, a producer at TBS noticed Cinda’s work and hired her as a Design Expert on TBS’s new weekly show Movie and a Makeover. On the show, Cinda has made over everything from a dreary laundry room to a vintage motor home. She appears regularly and has acquired a strong fan base. In 2007, Cinda worked as a co-host with Vern Yipp on the HGTV’s hit show Deserving Design. In 2008, she joined the show Decorating Cents on HGTV as guest designer.

Elegance, comfort and sophistication are all combined to make the dining room a great gathering place for family and friends. This creative and inviting room is decorated with reclaimed, recycled, and repurposed items. As they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. The dining room is green not only because we will be keeping items out of landfills, but also because we will not be pulling any new resources from our earth. Almost everything in the room was purchased second hand, which shows that you can repurpose items and still get a stunning, modern and exciting room.
