The 3R's (reduce, reuse and recycle) has played a crucial role in the eco-friendly design of the Greenhaven Craft Room. The students and faculty from the Furnishing and Interiors program at the University of Georgia used a blend of repurposed and/or new and sustainable materials to create the modern craft room. The space showcases the innovative use existing and new materials to create a unique and highly functional work space. The intricate details, such as flowers made of recycled wallpaper samples, give the space a vibrant personality while demonstrating the beauty and ease in designing green.
