| Fly Fishing Room |
![]() The fly fishing room is a refuge from the busy ness of everyday life. The hickory wood lounge chairs and ottoman made locally in Clayton, GA. They create an outdoor feel that is both green and relaxing. The rug, made in the "folk art" style, is new but made of wool with a cotton backing in all natural materials.
The Fly Station is a repurposed workbench with a maple work surface that has mellowed with age and a new life in this home. The lamps are made from recycled iron pipe and probably had a less visible life carrying runoff water. The Trout collage was made locally in Atlanta, GA by artist Brian Carter. The door panels were covered with maps and book pages and painted to create this beautiful work of art /architecture. Both sides were painted to give a "two for one option." Waves- on side two. A cozy wool throw from Swans Island is made from organic wool. The sheep live on Nash Island, Maine. Their wool is naturally brown for a short period of time and the wool is shorn, spun, and woven in Maine creating work of art that can keep you warm.
