Pace Homebuilders, a leading green homebuilding company in Atlanta, partners with Justin Cave, landscape expert and host of HGTV’s hit show Ground Breakers, to transform the grounds of Greenhaven into the new model for drought-tolerant and eco-friendly landscaping. Cave will host a FREE green landscaping event this Saturday May 30, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and Sunday, May 31, 1:30 - 5:30 pm at Greenhaven, the first eco-friendly LEED certified Decorators’ Show House in Cobb County. The house is located at 2380 Chelsea Landing Way, Marietta, GA 30062.

Greenhaven will welcome homeowners, industry professionals and youth to their hands-on Green Landscape Event aimed to teach the benefits of drought tolerant landscaping and DIY tips for achieving your own eco-friendly environment. Cave will educate participants on the following green landscape techniques: installation of rainwater reclamation systems, the best plants and materials for a sustainable Georgia lawn, Composting 101, eco-friendly paver installation, Rain Barrel installation, water gardens, erosion control and drainage, Xeriscape techniques, Container Gardening, Organic Vegetable Gardening and Backyard Wildlife habitat projects and certifications. Guests will also enjoy lunch from Atlanta Outdoor Kitchens and the opportunity to win free rain barrels and other fabulous green landscaping products throughout the day.
