Expert Tips, News and Happenings from Atlanta's Home Improvement Community Atlanta's First Eco-Decorators' Show House Pace Homebuilders designed and built Greenhaven, the first eco-decorators' show house in Atlanta and the Southeast, located at Chelsea Landing in Cobb County. Next month, the house will be opened for the public to see with proceeds benefiting Upper Chattahoochee RiverKeeper Fund, which works to help protect the Chattahoochee River and its tributaries and sustain the ecological health of all the living things that use this water source. Inside, visitors will view a 3-level home that utilizes the latest green products in every room.The 8,140-square-foot Greenhaven has five bedrooms, five full baths and two half baths, along with a detached garage and half-acre lot. Local vendors, decorators and architects joined Pace Home Builders to finish the extensive project. The building process was documented to provide educational tours and videos to explain the techniques to those who are interested. |
